From one unique person to another

Dear Reader,

This is a letter from one unique person to another.  Whether only one person reads it or a hundred, a thousand or a million every single reader is a person whether male or female, pastor, preacher, member of a congregation, old or young it makes no difference everyone is uniquely made by God. There are no replications.

I am writing to encourage you to realise how important it is not only to read God’s Word every day but also to make declarations allowed about how mighty and magnificent God is and of the special place in the Kingdom, He has given to you if you will walk with Him the way that He longs for you too. The reason for this is that He loves and cherishes you and knows what will build you up and fulfil you in your daily life and what will destroy it

No matter what the situation is He knows all about it and has the solution.  God does not promise an easy life but He does promise that He will always be there for you as it says in Psalm 46:1.  (New King James Amplified Bible).

"God is our Refuge and Strength (mighty and impenetrable to temptation), a very present and well-proved help in trouble."

God knows who you are in Him and how special you are to Him but do you?  It is important to never forget that God has called you by name asking you to be His.  Then before you have ever thought about giving your life to Him He has made provision for it as well as giving you a future and a hope and someone who will never let you down is always with you and will always answer you.  In addition to this, He gives you free choice about whether you follow Him or not.  He just keeps knocking at your door until you make a decision for or against Him, whether to give Him all your rubbish and in return receive all the promises of the one and only, truly mighty magnificent God contained in His Word.

Step 1

Step 1 is to start declaring God's Word over your life is to begin by praising Him and declaring how great God is.  Look at Psalm 104 as an example.  You can use the whole Psalm or pick out some appropriate verses as God leads.

Psalm 104 (NKJ Amplified Bible)

  1. Bless (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) The Lord, ) my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with honour and majesty -
  2. (You are the One) Who covers Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain or a tent,
  3. Copy out the whole psalm here.

The aim of declaring how great God is to remind your mind and body that Jesus is Lord and to cause your spirit to rise up full of reverence to God.  Praising God pleases God and it also makes a declaration to the atmosphere and can change it.

Step 2

Step 2 is to declare what God has done for you so that you do not forget the benefits that giving your life to the Lord have brought.  You forget the difficulties of the day when you remember where you could have been had it not been for God's mercy and grace.  Look at Psalm 103.  Again you can use the whole Psalm or just the first 6 verses.

Psalm 103 (NKJ Amplified Bible)

(A Psalm of David)

1 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!

2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits

3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,

4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;

5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

6 The Lord executes righteousness and justice [not for me only, but] for all who are oppressed.

7 He made known His ways [of righteousness and justice] to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.

8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness.

9 He will not always chide or be contending, neither will He keep His anger forever or hold a grudge.

10 He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe].

14 For He knows our frame, He [earnestly] remembers and imprints [on His heart] that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

16 For the wind passes over it and it is gone, and its place shall know it no more.

17 But the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord are from everlasting to everlasting upon those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, and His righteousness is to children’s children—

18 To such as keep His covenant [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it] and to those who [earnestly] remember His commandments to do them [imprinting them on their hearts].

19 The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.

20 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word.

21 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, all you His hosts, you His ministers who do His pleasure.

22 Bless the Lord, all His works in all places of His dominion; bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul!

Step 3

Step 3 is where you are now ready to declare who you are in Christ.  Here are a few examples you could use.  Please do not limit yourselves to these as there are many others in the bible to encourage you.

Psalm 23:1  The Lord is my Shepherd (to feed guide and shield you).  I shall not lack.

Genesis 1:26 - 28 God made me in His own image and likeness and blessed me.

Psalm 139: 15-16 I am not a mistake, for all my days are written in God's book.

Psalm 139:14 I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Matthew 6:31-33 For God is my provider and He will meet all my needs.

I think this is enough to get you started.  If you do not have a bible it would be good to get together with someone who has and make declarations together.  This is fun to do and you will both be encouraged.  You can also copy the scriptures so that you have them with you or put them up around your home.

If you would like to let me know how you get on and what difference it makes to your life you can always email me at [email protected].  I would love to hear from you.

With love and blessings
